Being thorough, before meeting Søren on the streets of London I wanted to do a scout of the potential locations. It can be quite frustrating for both me and for clients if I’m experimenting on set so being organised about where I wanted to shoot was essential primarily for a smoother client experience but it works two ways. Being organised helps me concentrate on what’s important.
Our first location was Big Ben and although the London Eye was listed as a potential, I’d ruled it out based on my exhaustive scout of the area. We then headed on to the Gherkin and Lloyds for the final shots of the day. There was only one way to get all I wanted into the shot and that was to get right down to the street. Thankfully I have a coat to lie on.
