About

Welcome

I’m Charles Sturge (Corporate Photographer of the year 2019, winner) and one of London’s top corporate photographers. I create images and film that directly connect business with their audiences. I’m sensitive to brand, thrive under pressure and can put people at ease not matter how senior they are. No one challenge is the same and budgets vary, yet I aim to deliver the same professional level of end-to-end service to all.

Why me?

The quality of my photography, unique creative flair, my attention to brand and detail, my ability to listen and understand and my dependability set me apart and sees my clients return time and time again. I like to make my photoshoots fun... and I maintain state of the art camera equipment allowing me to deliver competitive advantage.

Tech

To allow me to work on shoots of any scale, working along side a corporate client, I've created a state of the art logistics system for scheduling, retouching images to individual needs and delivering to tight deadlines via the strictest firewalls.

My scope

Corporate photography, is just one aspect of what I do. I've build a reputation as a top portrait photographer with commissions from national and international press. Working with clients such as Blackstone I've also built reputation as one of the best architectural photographer in the City. I produce film, photograph both corporate and public events and more recently I’ve been building a collection of ‘winter bleak’ landscapes (soon to be exhibited). I love the challenge of helping any company strengthen its brand and in-turn achieve a healthy ROI.

The patch

My team and I provide professional photography to business clients in the UK and internationally, all at market sensitive rates. From local start-ups to global multi nationals, CEO/executive portraits and corporate headshots, commercial property and interiors to editorial and special features. The majority of my work is in London’s business districts: City of London EC1, EC2, EC3, EC4, E14, W1 however I travel throughout Greater London, UK, Europe and further afield. To find out how I can help or to get my prices, drop me a line.

Other stuff

My passion for photography and seizing opportunity has lead me to: being the official tour photographer for the Black Eyed Peas, hosting an event to show case Namibia through my images at the Namibian High Commission and an independent photojournalist for the Times, Telegraph, New York Times, Le Figaro, Reporters and El Pias. I’ve worked with a US film company EPL Pictures at Abbey Road Recording Studios which took me to Hollywood where I was invited to photographed many incredible people. I’ve also produced a documentary about the Kota Mama II Expedition (reed boat through South America) that was broadcast by National Geographic. To say it’s been fun would be an understatement!

See also: editorial portraiture (some of the famous people I've been commissioned to photograph) and also: images from my tour with the Black Eyed Peas.

Reviews

Corporate Photographer

"Having used a number of ‘try before you buy’ photographers I still wasn’t satisfied I had found the right fit and then I found Charles Sturge (Corporate Photographer). Charles’s product is first class and his delivery is 21st century cutting-edge.  We are always looking at ways to operate smartly and Charles provided a remote online solution before and after each shoot that has proved to be very popular and very light for the customer; it really is very impressive.

The shoot of course is the real reason we have complete and utter faith in him and his team.  He has managed to get staff in front of the camera who have refused to get in front of the camera before. His customer service skills are exceptional allowing him to execute his craft impeccably.  He is approachable and engaging which in turn gives the customer confidence and assurance which is reflected in the end-product.

I believe that I have found a pragmatic and unpretentious blue ribbon photographer who matches our own values and standards. I couldn’t think of working with anyone else."
