For three decades, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with remarkable companies, helping to shape how they are seen, understood, and remembered. Photography, for me, is not merely craft; it’s a quiet, strategic tool that supports trust, clarity, and presence. My Approach
Over the years, I’ve photographed everyone from interns to CEOs and global celebrities, always with the same commitment: to make people feel at ease, respected, and well-represented. My work is shaped by listening carefully, understanding context, and delivering an end-to-end service that clients can trust.
From brand refreshes to one-off campaigns, from single portraits to enterprise-wide projects—I’m adept at working within varied scopes and budgets, ensuring the results are consistently aligned with your goals.
For larger organisations, I’ve developed SmartShoot.logistics—a bespoke system enabling real-time delivery of high-quality headshots, designed to streamline scheduling and image access across departments.
Background
My early career took me across the globe—from music tours with the Black Eyed Peas to editorial features in The Times, The Telegraph, New York Times, Le Figaro, and El Pais. A long-standing interest in documentary work led to a National Geographic broadcast of my film chronicling a reed boat expedition through South America—one of many enriching adventures that shaped my perspective.

“I am the office manager of a FTSE100 company managing 120000sq ft of office space and over 800 staff. I employed Charles a couple of years back primarily to take corporate head shots for marketing, intranet and communications purposes but also to photograph special events too. Charles and his team took pictures of our medical clinic. This included headshots, group pictures and pictures of the clinic itself.
Communication with Charles to agree on the work we wanted was very easy and he asked very specific questions which meant that he was well prepared on the actual day of the photoshoot. The day went very smoothly, credit goes to Charles and his team who were professional, friendly, and relaxed. He was able to send us the pictures in a very timely manner (even before the date we agreed on) and he was extremely flexible with all the edits and comments we sent him. He was also always happy to share his artistic view about photos we requested and making changes to make them look better. Basically, you are in safe hands if you go with Charles, and it is money well spent.
